Rules of Operation

REGULATIONS OF OPERATION OF THE ASPROVALTA CAMPING BUSINESS UNIT OF HELLENIC PUBLIC PROPERTIES CO.

The purpose of the regulations is to better serve the campers and the proper functioning of the Camping. Campers shall address ONLY the Reception Office, in order for complaints and observations to be immediately and responsibly handled.

Arrivals & Departures

  • Upon arrival at the Reception, Campers must sign the “Agreement for the Concession of Use and Accommodation of a Camping Lot”, where they fill, among other things, their details and the details of their companions and present their identity card(s) or passport(s) in accordance with the relevant security provisions for persons and facilities. Upon signing the Agreement, they accept, among others, without prejudice, the present terms of the Camping Regulations. Then they receive the vehicle card and the card for their camping vehicle, which should be placed in a prominent place and shown to the Camping employees when requested. For campers with a “short-stay package”, the ID card or passport remains in the reception box during their stay and is returned upon departure, after their bill has been settled.
  • The location of the campsite or accommodation is indicated exclusively by the Campsite Management and no change is possible except after consultation. The company reserves the right to change the location of a camping vehicle, if there is a special reason (e.g. safety, quietness, harmonious proximity to the surrounding campers).
  • Bills are settled between 8 a.m. and 9 p.m.

Check-in and check-out times

  • Arrival time of campers by wheeled vehicle or other camping vehicle: 7 a.m.
  • Arrival time at rented cottages: after 2 p.m. Departure time of campers by wheeled vehicle or other camping vehicle and from the rented cottages: until 12 p.m. Otherwise, the entire next day is charged.

Accommodation in a camping vehicle

  • The camping lots are numbered. A change in a lot is not permitted without the consent of the Management.
  • For the installation of a second tent or for receiving power supply and in general before any change, the prior consent of the Management is required.

Campers must inform the Reception of any change in the number of persons declared in the initial agreement.

Accommodation in a cottage

  • It is not permitted to take any equipment out of the cottages.

If any equipment of the cottages is lost or destroyed, the camper is responsible for the cost of replacement and maintenance.

Guests

  • Visits are allowed only following permission and after the presentation by the guests of their ID card or Passport at the reception.
  • The stay of visitors in the camp area cannot exceed two (2) hours. After two hours and up to six (6) hours, each person is charged the day rate and after six (6) hours and up to twenty-four (24) hours the overnight rate.
  • Visitors are prohibited from entering the Camping with their car for any reason
  • In case a visitor or guest is found in a camper’s lot/accommodation without having declared his/her visit to the reception, the Management has the right to remove the camper and the visitor from the Campsite.

Vehicle Traffic

  • The entry-exit of the campers’ cars is allowed from 7 a.m. to 12 a.m. In case of arrival of a vehicle or wheeled vehicle before 7 a.m. and after 12 a.m., parking will be outside the limits of the Camping and campers will enter on foot.
  • For wheeled vehicles, the maximum speed limit at the Camping is 10 km/h.
  • If a driver is found to be traveling at a higher speed, he/she shall not be permitted to enter the Camping.
  • The car must be parked within the limits of the camper’s lot. Only one means of transport is permitted per lot/accommodation. The parking of a passenger car or other means of transport (e.g. trailer) is charged with the corresponding rate.
  • The use of the car is permitted only when entering and exiting the Camping and never for traveling within the Camping.

Quiet hours

  • Everyone is expected to respect quiet hours, from 11p.m. to 7 a.m. and 3p.m. to 5:30p.m.

Pets

  • Pets are allowed at the Camping as long as the provisions of the Greek legislation are complied with by their owner (art. 9 of Law 4830/2021, as in force).
  • The camper-pet owner, upon arrival, must show the animal’s health booklet at the reception desk, which shows that it is completely healthy and has had the vaccinations required by law.
  • The owner is obliged to take care of the immediate cleaning of the environment from the pet’s excrement.
  • The dog owner, in addition, is obliged to ensure that the dog is always walked with an escort, to take the appropriate measures so that his/her dog does not freely leave its camping lot and enters other camping lots or common areas, during the walk to keep his/her dog on a leash and to be at a short distance from it.
  • Dogs are not permitted to access the organized coast (art. 19 of Law 4830/2021, as amended by art. 21 of Law 5043/2023).
  • The owner or fosterer of a pet is liable for any damage or damages caused by the animal, in accordance with article 924 of the Greek Civil Code.

Safety

  • The Company employs a Security team and lifeguards.
  • Campers must faithfully follow the instructions given by the Camping’s Administration and Reception and the indications of the posted signs and comply with the provisions of these Regulations.
  • The Company offers accommodation in nature and is not responsible, among other things, for any accidents and harmful consequences arising from activities, fauna and flora (insects, animals, plants, etc.), unforeseen events, natural phenomena, random incidents or non-compliance with the regulations.
  • HPPC bears no responsibility whatsoever for any damages/wear or theft of camping equipment, portable equipment, movable property and personal belongings of the campers, caused in any way (including weather phenomena), the responsibility of which lies exclusively with them.
  • Campers are not permitted to prune or cut down trees and shrubs.
  • Connection to water supply, sewerage and electricity supply networks is not permitted.
  • In case an arbitrary connection with the above networks is detected, HPPC through the Camping Management has the right to proceed to any disconnection action at the camper’s expense and responsibility.
  • The electricity supplier and not the carrier is liable for the breakdown of electrical appliances from the power supply.
  • The use of electrical appliances over 1500 watts is not permitted. In case the use of such devices is established, the Camper is obliged to remove them, not excluding the claim of compensation by our Company for any damages caused.
  • Electric and hybrid vehicles are not permitted to be charged.
  • The power supply boxes and pillars located within the camp area are handled exclusively by the Company’s staff for safety reasons.
  • Campers must disconnect the devices from the electrical grid during their absence from their camping vehicle.
  • It is strictly forbidden to light a fire inside the Camping and on the beach, for cooking or for other purposes.
  • Parents/guardians of minor children are obliged to have their children under their supervision at all times. In common areas (wc/shower, playgrounds, beach, etc.) children must be accompanied by their parents/guardians, who are also responsible for their safety and behavior.

Constructions – interventions

  • Any construction, addition, intervention or violation of the Camping area, the camping area limits, as well as the accommodation that alters its image, such as, indicatively, the construction of a roof, fence, warehouse, barbecue, etc., regardless of construction materials, is prohibited. It is also prohibited to remove the wheels from the caravans and to support the tents with other means of support than the intended means.
  • In case any of the above-mentioned alterations-interventions are detected and the Camper does not comply with the instructions of the Camping employees; the Management is entitled to request his/her departure.
  • It is forbidden to permanently occupy a part of the beach with umbrellas, furniture-beach items or fences. The staff of the Camping has the right to remove from the beach any object that violates the Regulations.

Cleanliness

  • Campers are responsible for keeping the Camping clean and are responsible for the cleanliness of their lot, the campsite and the beach.
  • The evacuation of chemical toilets is carried out only in the biological areas specifically designated for this use.
  • Utensils and clothes are washed only in the designated common areas and it is forbidden to install laundry/dishwashing machines.
  • Waste of any kind is placed only in the garbage containers after being sealed in bags.
  • It is not permitted to deposit bulky recyclable items next to household waste bags, which are collected and renewed daily, outside the Camping or anywhere else within the Camping. The items will be transported outside the Camping at the responsibility and expense of the campers. Those that fit in the blue recycling bins located outside the Camping will be deposited with them. Those that do not fit in the blue recycling bins will be transported to the nearest recycling center by the camper him/herself. Under no circumstances will they be collected by the cleaning workers of the Camping.
  • The same applies to empty glass bottles. They will be deposited in the glass recycling bin located just outside the Camping.

Commercial Activity

Campers/visitors are not allowed to engage in any commercial activity within the Camping facilities and on the beach in front of it.

 Emergency Procedures

  • Inside the Camping there are signs directing campers to the two (2) gathering points in case of emergency.

Cancellation Policy

  • In case the camper has chosen the “long stay package” and permanently departs from the Camping during its operation, having stayed for more than sixty (60) days, the amount corresponding to the specific benefit is not refunded. In case the camper has stayed up to fifty-nine (59) days, 50% of the package will be refunded.
  • The entry and stay of campers at the Camping constitutes unconditional acceptance of the terms of these Regulations.

Each term is essential and can only be amended in writing, while the violation of any of the terms of the agreement and the Regulation, gives the right to HPPC to request the removal of the Camper without the payment of any compensation, while the Company may claim compensation for breach of contract.
